Functional testing allows us to dive deeper into your presenting health complaint and to identify potential drivers for your condition and/ or symptoms.
Not all clients will require functional testing. This will only be recommended if I feel that this will improve your treatment outcomes.

The GI-MAP (GI-Microbial Assay Plus) is unique in the field of comprehensive stool testing. It relies exclusively on quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more, by targeting the specific DNA of the organisms tested.

Vaginal Microbiome Test

Vaginal microbiome testing allows us to examine the complex ecosystems of microbes residing in the female reproductive tract. This may include bacteria, viruses, parasites and yeasts. Some of these organisms are important in keeping us healthy as they act to discourage other potential pathogens from thriving.
Disruptions in balance of any of these can lead to infections and/or uncomfortable symptoms. Every vaginal microbiome is different and factors such as age, hormonal disruptions and even antibiotic/probiotic use can contribute to changes.
